The Practitioner Coordinator reports to the Chair of Trustees. The two major areas of responsibility are allocating incoming clients to our practitioners, and supporting practitioners from when they first contact the organisation to when they leave.
The role is best suited to a mature counsellor/psychotherapist with considerable clinical experience either in private practice or with an agency. Although the role may involve some degree of mentoring and pastoral care of practitioners, this is not a supervisory role as all our therapists have their own supervisors.
356 hours per year @£20 per hour making the annual remuneration £7,120, which is payable monthly. We think that this is about half the commercial rate for this kind of role, making this in part a voluntary role. All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
Please email your CV and a covering letter to Julian Sharples, Chair of Trustees. The closing date for applications is Friday 13 November 2020.
Volunteer Fundraiser / Bid Writer
We are seeking a volunteer Fundraiser and/or Bid Writer to support our work, which makes a huge difference to many people living in and around Oxford. You can carry out the role wherever you are based.
Although the role is best suited to those with fundraising experience, related skills and experience will be considered. Good teamwork and communication skills are essential. The role offers opportunities to develop your fundraising skills, meet new people in the charity and counselling community, and obtain insights into the running of a successful local charity.
Ideally you would be able to devote 8-16 hours a month to fundraising, but we may consider someone who can work fewer hours.
This is a voluntary role, but all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
Please email your CV and a covering letter to Juliet Henderson, Fundraising Trustee. The closing date for applications is Friday 13 November 2020.
